District reports full-price offer on building-trades house, seeks finance-committee approval

District administrators told the board they received a full-price offer on the building-trades house and requested the finance committee consider an action item at its Sept. 23 meeting if at least four board members could attend.
An administrator noted they prefer to have Linda Christiansen review the paperwork and schedule inspections before final approval. "Since it's the full price of what we're asking, I don't think it's real controversial," an administrator said, but added that staff would seek the finance committee's review and then bring a final recommendation to the full board for approval.
If at least four committee members are available, staff said they will place the approval on the finance-committee agenda; otherwise staff would call a special board meeting to approve the sale.
