A board member asked why the district votes on the agreement annually if the end date runs to 2027; administrators explained the board’s annual affirmation helps the department and can be required for grant or administrative reasons. The motion to approve the agreement passed by voice vote.
Administrators said the district will continue to coordinate with the health department and will bring forward any changes necessary to comply with state requirements or to reflect administrative changes.
