Board approves guaranteed maximum prices for three district projects totaling roughly $23.6 million

Gaines walked trustees through scope adjustments (reducing soil prep and optimizing civil work) and noted safety-and-security additions (PA systems, clocks and cameras) that increased costs at some sites. Trustee discussion requested clearer asterisks on publicly posted documents to show where increases occurred; Gaines acknowledged the request and noted the presentation includes a footnote identifying increases on Waterford Oaks and Lacey items.
A motion to approve the GMPs was moved and seconded; trustees voted unanimously to approve the guaranteed maximum prices to Core Construction for the named projects.
