Cedar Hill ISD recognizes Toys for Tots partnership; Texas Trust Gives praised for donations

Cedar Hill ISD recognized community partners for the district's Tools for Tots initiative, which identified close to 1,600 families for holiday support and achieved nearly 80% attendance at distribution events.
Eduardo Conde, Director of Family and Community Engagement, praised the partnership with Marine Toys for Tots and local foundations and named district volunteers and campus student leaders who supported the program. "This initiative is only possible because of strong partnerships," Conde said, and invited Toys for Tots and Texas Trust Gives representatives to accept certificates of recognition.
Marine Toys for Tots volunteers described the program's reach and book-distribution plans to promote literacy, and Texas Trust Gives representatives said the foundation has contributed more than $300,000 to the district through local giving channels. The board applauded the volunteers and student service learning that supported the distributions.
