Collegiate Prep Elementary reports enrollment growth, strong K'5 performance and staffing needs

Collegiate Prep Elementary Principal Ronnie Davis presented a campus spotlight, reporting that enrollment has risen from 476 to about 511 scholars and that the school maintains strong attendance (around 96'197%). Davis highlighted academic successes and remaining challenges, and outlined a short-term roadmap to strengthen instruction.
Davis called out specific gains: "We had a 32% increase in the number of scholars who were meeting their growth targets for MAP in kindergarten," and said 63% of fifth-graders met reading growth targets. He also reported that the campus earned an A rating for 2024'25 and three distinctions, including an Academic Achievement in Science distinction for fifth grade.
At the same time, Davis flagged staffing concerns: the campus has about 10 uncertified staffers, with three close to full certification. "Given the fact that we have 10 individuals that are uncertified, it's still very important to continue building capacity," he said, and described a 90-day plan emphasizing Tier 1 instruction, coaching, and data-driven interventions.
Trustees thanked Davis for the snapshot and asked clarifying questions about targets and supports; no vote was required for the informational report.
