Walmart asks for signage relief at Chamblee store; council probes alternatives to more poles

Sublett told council, "It is not at all immediately obvious which way you ought to turn based on the signs and their placement..." Several council members urged the applicant and staff to consider thermoplastic road‑marking and clearer striping as a lower‑profile alternative to more post‑mounted signs, and raised trail and cyclist safety concerns where signs would be placed near the rail trail.
