Council sets hearings for code changes on walkway lighting and pet daycare permits

Similarly, Ordinance No. 4‑26—proposing to require a special use permit for pet daycares in the M‑1 district and amending related definitions and lot regulations—was set for a second reading Jan. 26, 2026 with a public hearing on Feb. 9, 2026 at 7:20 p.m. Fechter indicated these are planning referrals and provided no further comment at this meeting.
