Council members raised concerns about traffic congestion and whether Chester Road might need widening. Mayor Bryan Jensen confirmed the City's plan to widen that portion of Chester Road to five lanes, describing related utility relocations and a culvert extension that would be required; he said City Engineer Ryan Cummins has preliminary plans for at least one section of the widening. Council emphasized the bottleneck created by the current two‑lane stretch near Jaycox Road.
