The Select Board approved a request from Split Rock Social to open at 10:00 a.m. on Oct. 3, 2026 for a special event and extended its liquor license for that single day following a motion by Select Member Gregory Watts; the vote was 5-0-0. Vice Chair Ellen Maher asked that future applications follow standard submission procedures rather than email.
The board also approved two one-day liquor licenses for the South Shore Hellenic Church’s annual Greek Festival: Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday, Sept. 13, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Chief Quigley reported no issues with those requests. All related motions were made, seconded, and carried unanimously at the meeting.
