Staff emphasized the program’s family engagement portal, remediation and professional development offerings. The presenter said there is an AI component to support teachers (lesson plan generation and practice‑item generation) that the district considers contained within the platform rather than pulling external internet content.
Trustees asked whether family and student use is trackable (user logins) and how the proposed curriculum aligns with existing resources (Bluebonnet); staff said they would follow up with trackability details and that Bluebonnet focuses more on critical thinking while the proposed program emphasizes real‑world application. A formal vote to adopt the curriculum is scheduled for the May board meeting.
