Crowley ISD to pilot bus GPS tracking at Sycamore after spring break; parents can view routes during dismissal window

Mr. Walker said parents can view a student’s route (and multiple students’ routes if dismissal times overlap) and that the parent view is limited to route windows (roughly a two-hour span around dismissal). He added that administrators will also have visibility to monitor late buses or operational issues.
Trustees asked whether the tracking could be used for athletic/extra routes; Mr. Walker said the current rollout covers structured morning and evening routes and not ad hoc routes such as JV basketball trips, though he will investigate additional capabilities.
