Crowley ISD staff flag upcoming contract renewals and custodial RFP

Mr. Lisonbee told trustees that Durham Transportation (student transportation) and Sodexo (child nutrition) are up for renewal and that the custodial contract with ABM has ended; the district has issued a request for proposals for custodial services. He explained RFP review committees composed of administrators and stakeholders typically vet vendors and that vendors present to those committees; vendors make presentations to the full board only if the committee brings a recommendation.
Staff identified Jarvis Walker and operations staff as points of contact for questions and encouraged trustees to consult the board book for summaries. The board did not take final action on these procurements at this meeting; staff will return with committee recommendations when available.
