Board approves several assistant principal appointments and names new director of technology
Summary
Trustees approved a slate of administrative hires including assistant principals at Deer Creek, Hargrave, Sue Crouch, Crowley 9th Grade and appointed Mark Hyatt as director of technology; each recommendation was moved, seconded and carried.
The Crowley ISD board approved multiple recommended administrative personnel actions submitted as part of the employment agenda. Trustee Watkins moved to recommend Britney Escobar as assistant principal at Deer Creek Elementary; the motion was seconded and carried. Subsequent motions approved John Reed at Hargrave Elementary, Michael Harris at Sue Crouch Elementary, Alicia Cooks at Crowley 9th Grade, and Mark Hyatt as Director of Technology.
Trustees and the presiding officer offered congratulations to those appointed. The personnel items were handled as part of the formal agenda with motions and votes recorded; staff did not provide additional discussion of candidates’ qualifications in open session during these motions. Implementation will proceed per district hiring protocols.
