Applicants Clay Lincoln and Jeff Harger told the board the operation would be a single-person business producing nylon rod products; Harger said he will lease the building from Lincoln for a period of 12 to 18 months after required upgrades. The applicants said finished goods would be removed from the site by pickup truck and that there would be no water usage or hazardous industrial waste associated with the operation. Matt Wyant, the county Building and Zoning consultant, read the staff report and recommended approval.
Board discussion confirmed the site currently lacks an assigned 911 address and that the property will be required to obtain one before occupancy. The applicants listed planned building upgrades including new doors and updated electrical service, removal of outdoor portables, and regular mowing and snow removal as part of compliance.
