House welcomes South Hamilton FFA officers and marks Career and Technical Education month

Representative Latham asked the chamber to extend a warm Iowa House welcome to the students and teachers attending.
Representative Vonageren noted that February 2026 has been designated Career and Technical Education month by the Association for Career and Technical Education and emphasized that CTE programs prepare students for the workforce. Vonageren said, "Today, we are blessed with over 400 students and teachers representing career technology," and highlighted the role of CTE in connecting education to industry needs.
