The Ashland/Bayfield Regional CCS Coordination Committee on July 14 approved Julie Winter as its new chair during a regular meeting at the Ashland County Health and Human Services building. Tanya Yeazle moved to approve the chair and Pam Stanny seconded; "all in favor" votes carried the motion.
Julie had led the meeting after members opened the session noting chair and vice-chair vacancies; she told the group she "will take the role as Chairperson." The committee recorded several membership changes: Jan Kupczyk stepped down from the vice chair role, two participant members resigned (including the former chair), and county representative seats were reshuffled amid position changes at Bayfield County. The minutes note outreach is underway to recruit additional Bayfield County participant members to maintain equal representation and comply with DHS 36, which the committee cited as limiting county-staff representation to one-third of the body.
The committee listed the next meeting for Oct. 13, 2026 at 12:30pm in the Lake Superior Conference Room at the Bayfield County Courthouse. The minutes were signed by Andrea Yrjanainen, Administrative Assistant for Ashland/Bayfield County CCS.
