At the Feb. 19, 2026 meeting the Pahrump Veterans Memorial Advisory Committee reviewed and publicized several upcoming events for veterans and volunteers. The committee announced: "The annual Veterans Extravaganza is March 6, 2026, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at The Bob Ruud Center," the Baker to Vegas Fun Run on March 28-29, 2026, and Memorial Day graveside flag placement scheduled for May 23, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. Committee members also discussed plans for the committees 20th anniversary presentation and volunteer coordination for an annual Thank You BBQ.
Committee members volunteered to organize logistics: Eddie Williams and Stephen Hall agreed to co-organize the Thank You BBQ and to coordinate with Building and Grounds supervisor Jimmy Martinez on room set-up, menu, tent/BBQ tank gas, ice and tableware. The committee noted a subcommittee sign-up list is available and that Stephen Halls committee membership renewal was approved by the commissioners.
