At the Nov. 21 meeting the board recorded the following notable votes and motions: approval of the Sept. 19 minutes after a wording revision (motion by Laurence Gross, seconded by Lisa Williams; 3 yes, 1 abstain); dismissals with Letters of Guidance for 2024-ALC-20341 and 2024-ALC-20361; dismissal of 2025-ALC-20566 for lack of evidence; offering a consent agreement in 2025-ALC-20579 requiring one year probation and 12 hours continuing education; and several application approvals and one retained preliminary denial (Leslie Leathers) with a recusal recorded.
The board entered executive session where allowed by statute to consider confidential health information (1 M.R.S. §405(6)(F) and 22 M.R.S. §1711-C). Director Penny Vaillancourt announced a staff appointment and reminded members of FOIA training. The meeting adjourned at 11:30 a.m. on a 4-0 vote.
