Village operator Dean Magariner reported that the contractor for the pavilion rebuild has taken truss measurements and can begin work; the contractor will install posts with pads (possibly using Sonotubes) and agreed to fill voids from old posts with extra concrete. Magariner also said the old park shelter by Dahlberg’s office has been torn down and that the Douglas County rain-garden project was completed under budget.
Magariner added that there is a plumbing issue at the village shop—the pressure tank may need replacement due to a shock when a sink is turned on—and that the plumbing is custom and may require a plumber. The board recorded the update under Buildings and Grounds with no formal motions attached.
