Board approves numerous company renewals and reiterates 10-day reporting requirement

On June 4 the Maine Board of Pharmacy approved renewal applications for dozens of companies, including Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health USA Inc. (WH70003000), McKesson Corporation (WH70002773), Baxter Healthcare Corporation (MF20001472), and many others listed in the minutes. The board repeatedly attached a notice reminding licensees of the statutory duty under 10 M.R.S. 8003‑G(2) to report specified changes or events in writing to the office no later than 10 days after the change.
The minutes record one recusal during renewal votes: Bradley Hamilton recused on Express Scripts Pharmacy Inc.’s renewal motion. Otherwise, motions to approve renewals were moved, seconded and recorded as unanimous in the meeting minutes. The board also tabled the renewal of Absolute Pharmacy, LLC and requested staff gather more information.
