Administrator: ODOT approves Chestnut school zone; Broadway sewer work complete, water lines expected by August

During the July 6 council meeting, Village Administrator Jordan Hodges reported that the Ohio Department of Transportation has approved a school zone on Chestnut; he said he will meet with police and public works and bring detailed plans to the next council meeting.
Hodges also updated council on the Broadway project, noting that the sewer lines have been completed and that crews are currently working on the water lines with an expected completion by the first week of August. He announced the annual Touch-a-Truck event on July 18 at the public library from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
