The Board of Complementary Health Care Providers voted on Nov. 12 to convene a formulary subcommittee under PL 2025, c. 150 to examine rulemaking related to a practitioner formulary. Director Penny Vaillancourt described the process as a "sunrise review process which allows public/stakeholder comments on formulary rule making." Vaillancourt said the subcommittee would meet in the coming weeks and the board planned to review the subcommittee's outcome at its Dec. 17, 2025 meeting.
Chair Sarah Ackerly, Deborah Moskowitz and Maureen Perdue were named to the subcommittee; the minutes state a Board of Pharmacy member will be included as a consultant only. The board framed the step as part of post‑legislative work to implement PL 2025, c. 150. The board did not record a formal vote tally for convening the subcommittee beyond the member attendance and the notice that a meeting will be scheduled.
