Covington council approves donation of easements for Broadway project

At its July 6 meeting, the Covington Village Council approved Resolution R29-26, authorizing the Village Administrator to enter into an agreement with OR Colan for donation of right-of-way and easements needed for the Broadway project.
Village Administrator Jordan Hodges described the item as the third reading and said it “would allow the village to donate easements for property owned by the village for the Broadway project.” Jesse Reynolds moved to approve the resolution and Derrick Canan seconded; the motion passed on council vote and the project is cleared, administratively, to proceed with the donated easements in place.
