Council recorded a second reading of an ordinance that would authorize the Safety Service Director to enter agreements with Hyde Park Landscaping and Best Fence Cincinnati for construction of a community dog park, with total cost not to exceed $64,000.
The ordinance was noted as a second reading only; council did not adopt the measure that night. Council also heard resident support conveyed via an email read aloud by Councilor Katie Eadicicco quoting Diane Lynd: “I think it’s a real win for our community,” in favor of the proposed dog park. The record shows prior motions and discussion on the dog-park agenda item but no final adoption on Oct. 21.
