Dr. Fatima Fulmore, the superintendent, replied that the crosswalk outlines the duties and that the $1,100,000 figure Griffin referenced was captured in the adopted 2026–27 budget. “The reason why you see 2 separate… 1 was already adopted with the 2627 budget to explain what happened up into that point, and then we provided another set so that 1,100,000 that you're referring to was already captured in the budget that you adopted,” Fulmore said, adding that the district provided a post‑budget adoption version showing more recent shifts and could present the material publicly if the board requests it.
The exchange left a numerical discrepancy in the meeting record (the chair cited about $1,000,000 and a net $186,000; administration cited $1,100,000 captured in the budget). Members agreed to work toward a public presentation that would show the requested crosswalk and supporting figures so the board and the public can review how eliminations, promotions, and reclassifications produced the net savings.
