The Rowlett Planning and Zoning Commission approved amended minutes from its Sept. 9, 2025 meeting after commissioners pointed out a mischaracterized public comment. Chair opened the item for discussion and said staff notes showed several speakers listed as opposed to a PD request when, in one listed case, Samantha Chandler had spoken in support. Commissioner Pollard moved to approve the minutes with the correction; Miss Wilson seconded the motion and the commission voted 7–0 to adopt the corrected minutes.
Commissioners also debated a date reference in the draft minutes (a line incorrectly noting July 22 where it should read Aug. 26 or Sept. 9). The commission resolved the date question during the discussion before the vote. "We have a motion, second by Miss Wilson," the Chair said before calling the vote, which passed unanimously.
