Council reviews special projects; suggests county help for Kinnear parking lot, identifies SNPLMA request

During the Jan. 20 meeting the council reviewed several special projects and potential funding paths.
The KCC Circle Fountain remains on hold. Council suggested classifying the Kinnear Library/McGill Town Hall parking-lot work as a capital-improvement project and recommended approaching White Pine County about design and cost-sharing. The McGill Ball Park project was identified as a Round 22 SNPLMA request per the White Pine County finance director. The restroom facility at Avenue K Park remains on hold; council asked the White Pine County Commission to list it as a priority for the next funding round.
Council also reviewed missing street signs across town (Avenue Q, the south ends of Fifth, Sixth and Seventh streets, and cross‑street signage near Circle Park such as Centennial Street and Bill Hoggan Drive) and recorded those as maintenance items to be addressed.
