McGill council assigns committee duties for 2026

Duties assigned include Fire/EMT and Youth/Community Activities to Sue Ann Manning; Park Maintenance to John Grant (with Cynthia Angelopoulos also listed); Street Lights and Streets & Street Signs to Brian Pay; Neighborhood Watch to Chairperson Angelopoulos; and Stacy Laird was listed as responsible for the business plan/McGill merchants reports. Member Sue Manning moved to approve the assignments and Member John Grant seconded; the motion passed with a quorum present.
The assignments provide the council’s working structure for handling routine town responsibilities and identify council members and a business representative for specific follow-up and oversight.
