She said RFPs will be issued soon and that the district is hiring staff to support operations and analytics for the systemwide needs program.
Jordan said the district is also evaluating a grants‑management system to centralize reporting and accelerate data collection from schools. "We have been looking into a grants management system, so something electronic that will help us with data reporting," she said. Board members including Parker expressed strong support for the citywide crisis‑management work, citing frequent crises experienced by local students.
