Council told bids are due soon for pool filtration upgrade; Trail Feasibility Study presentation set for Oct. 21

Scott Thamann, Recreation Chair, informed council that bids for a replacement filtration system at the community pool are expected imminently and that council authorization will be required to proceed once bids are reviewed. He said the city will award the project once formal approval is obtained.
Thamann also previewed upcoming trail planning: Michele Gottschlich will come to council on Oct. 21 to discuss the Trail Feasibility Study that the city has committed funds to. Thamann framed the feasibility work as the next step in the Triangle Trail plan and said it will involve multiple partners, including Mill Creek Alliance, Tri-State Trails, Great Parks and ODOT.
