"Now, therefore be it resolved that the board finds a substantial public purpose exists ... and the following delegations to the superintendent," Lance read as the resolution listed those specific delegations.
The PARB grant resolution approves submission of a truancy‑prevention grant for the 2026–27 year, designates Courtney Reeves as the grantee's authorized official and Elaine Guzman as the grantee's financial officer, and obligates Plano ISD to provide required matching funds. The consent motion passed with seven hands raised.
Trustees recorded no requests to remove items from the consent agenda prior to the vote.
