Community development staff presented the proposed 2026–27 CDBG annual action plan and explained that projects were recommended by the citizen advisory committee after reviewing outside agency applications. The plan includes funding for youth enrichment programs, South Wilson Street sidewalk design, Crestview Manor bathroom/furnishings and fencing, and ADA ramp work for the Crestview Church of the Nazarene and the Women's Club.
Staff said the allocation for the year was "just shy of a $162,000" and explained that the city typically reserves 7.5% of the allocation for planning and administration and uses a portion for public services. The council adopted Resolution 20 26-15 by voice vote.
