The Sumner County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved three separate carryover appropriations after Commissioner Shoaff split a larger request into individual votes.
The commission approved $50,000 for Hendersonville Health Department repairs and upgrades, $121,160 for recovery court operations, and a $242,528.23 carryover for construction and outfitting of the Westmoreland EMS facility. Commissioners noted the votes came from previously identified appropriation reductions and were presented as separate items to allow individual consideration.
Each item passed by voice vote with no recorded opposition. The actions were presented as carryovers from the county’s existing appropriation plan and will be processed through the county’s financial management procedures.
