The council approved Ordinance 20 22 on second reading to rezone the portion of the Antioch Road property from R-2 (single-family medium density) to C-2 (commercial high density). Planning staff told the council the Planning & Development Board recommended approval and that all noticing requirements had been met.
Planning staff also listed application fees associated with the process: "The cost for the comprehensive plan amendment was $2,500 and the rezoning was $750," and staff requested adoption on second reading; the council approved the ordinance by voice vote 5–0.
