On second reading the City Council adopted Ordinance 20 21 to amend the comprehensive plan and change a portion of the subject property along Antioch Road from residential to commercial. Planning and Development staff told the council the parcel is currently vacant and that the change responds to existing split zoning.
"The request is to change it from residential to commercial due to split zoning that's currently on the property," planning staff said, and noted the Planning and Development Board recommended approval on June 1 and the council approved the ordinance on second reading following no public testimony.
