All Pro Dads program highlighted at board meeting; organizers seek wide family participation

District staff introduced the All Pro Dads program and invited families to a district Excellence Expo scheduled for May 9. Mr. Mohammed introduced John Rogers III as a local team captain, and Rogers described the program's goals and structure.
"For 1 hour each month, you'll get to join other dads and kids at school for a fun memory making event," John Rogers told the board, explaining that All Pro Dads aims to strengthen father–child bonds and improve student outcomes by increasing family engagement. Organizers described plans for a financial literacy boot camp, a job fair and community resources at the expo, and asked trustees to help spread the word to reach their target attendance.
Trustees commented on the program's success at schools that had strong turnout, discussed communication channels and encouraged replication across campuses with lower participation. The district appointed a district team captain to help scale the program across campuses.
