Powers identified top rebate sources: BuyBoard ($35,597 for 24-25; a seven-year total of $284,002), JPMorgan Chase (roughly $24,570 for the year; a five-year total around $127,000), Amazon (a little over $13,000 this year) and a new Reed Wells Benson energy efficiency rebate (about $11,619). She noted the district did not pay out of pocket for consultant placement fees; consulting fees are taken from the rebate prior to issuance. Trustees asked for further explanation of how the Chase and Amazon programs work and for continuing efforts to expand vendor participation.
