Bond County restores zoning ordinance wording, raises Zoning Board pay to $50 per meeting

The Bond County Board voted Dec. 19 to reinstate wording that had been inadvertently omitted from the most recent amendment to the Bond County Zoning Ordinance after a request from Zoning Administrator Brad Criner. The board recorded the vote as "5 ayes, 0 nays; motion carried."
In the same agenda item the board approved Criner's request to raise Zoning Board pay from $35.00 to $50.00 per meeting. The motion to increase the stipend was moved by Chris Timmermann and seconded by Wes Pourchot and passed unanimously. The board asked for two additional estimates before deciding on a separate capital project for shop and office floor replacement discussed later in the meeting.
