At its June 29 meeting the Pegram board approved funding and operational items tied to town events and parks operations. Council authorized $4,600 in donations for the July 4 celebration and $225 in Police/Fire Department donations.
The board approved two fire department recruits—Casey Napier (reserve reinstated) and Maddux Bryant (new recruit)—by unanimous vote. Council also approved a KONA Ice food-truck visit proposed by Landon Lyon and a fall-ball contract for South Cheatham Little League proposed by Chris Haury, both subject to usual attorney or scheduling conditions noted in the minutes.
On equipment, council reviewed three bids for a Toro Z Master 4000 series 72-inch mower and approved the low bid from White Bluff Ace Hardware for $11,168.27. These motions carried on unanimous votes recorded in the meeting minutes.
