The Wahkiakum County Board voted to accept a bid from MorePower Technology Group for a Microsoft 365 migration project in the amount of $35,967.47 (including tax). The board authorized Emergency Technology Coordinator Beau Renfro to begin contract negotiations and directed that payment come from the Electronic Communications Cumulative Reserve Fund.
Commissioners Tischer and Cothren approved the bid in a unanimous motion. The board recorded the dollar amount and funding source during the IT Committee report and moved to authorize staff to proceed with negotiations and contracting.
The board also approved language in related resolutions to allow the Electronic Communications fund to be used for the project; staff were authorized to proceed with next steps.
