The Clarks public library reported that Summer Reading started June 10 with 30 children in attendance, according to the June 10 minutes. Library staff said Lego Club will start on Thursdays and STEM programming begins Monday, June 15. The minutes note a window project at the library is finished and three shrubs were added behind the building; staff plan to add dirt and use extra mulch provided by the clerk.
The library flagged a minor pest concern — two snakes were found in the building — and staff noted plans to address landscaping and building maintenance. No budget request tied to the projects was recorded in the minutes.
