Committee reviews downtown sign rules, sidewalk café program and hears report of building water intrusion

Council Member Mike Reese raised a separate concern about water intrusion at a building near the pocket park on Main Street. Service Director Matt Hiscock confirmed city staff are aware of the problem and said they have "had extensive conversations and we're trying to resolve that." The committee did not take formal action on either topic but discussed permitting constraints and operational expectations for downtown businesses.
