During the public‑comment period, representatives of local nonprofits thanked city staff and council for support and described recent volunteer efforts.
Connie Seiler, speaking for Innovative Minds of Crestview, expressed gratitude to the city manager, police chief and Councilwoman Allison for partnership on community events and said the group plans future youth programs. Later, Ed Mitchell provided final numbers from a volunteer clinic: "We saw 485 patients," he said, adding the clinic provided dental (242 patients), vision (170) and medical (73) services, engaged 349 volunteers and recorded 393 dental extractions. Mitchell said organizers and sponsors were already planning a larger event for next year and intended to continue offering free services to residents.
