The Village Board approved a site-plan request for a 0.333 wall sign for District Pourhouse at 686 Mike McCarthy Way and later approved an application for a Class B intoxicating liquor license for District Pourhouse LLC.
Planning staff (Aaron) said the proposed third wall sign on the west elevation is consistent with sign-code parameters for the Sports Entertainment Zoning District and that both the site-plan review committee and Plan Commission recommended approval: "Their proposed 3rd wall sign, is well within the parameters, for a wall sign, in the zoning district." Trustees moved and seconded approval, and the motion carried. On the liquor license, staff noted Public Works & Protection had previously recommended denial during an availability review, but a trustee moved to recommend approval and the board unanimously approved the Class B license by voice vote.
The approvals clear the way for the business to add the sign and serve intoxicating liquor under the village’s licensing framework; no conditions beyond standard inspections and licensing requirements were recorded in the transcript.
