The DeWitt County Board accepted newly read committee assignments at its Dec. 2, 2024 reorganization meeting.
Chairman Joe Witte read the committee assignments aloud and asked whether any board members had questions. No questions were raised. Witte moved to accept the committee appointments and Vice Chairman Terry Ferguson seconded; the motion carried on an aye vote by all members present.
The unanimous approval finalized which board members will serve on standing committees for the coming term and followed the formal elections of the chair and vice chair earlier in the meeting.
