Planning staff presented the final development plan and plat for Darby Station Phase 5, the northeastern final section of the larger subdivision, and the council approved the motion to adopt the final PUD and accompanying plat.
Staff said Phase 5 is relatively small compared with earlier sections and includes an extensive wooded area preserved with an internal walk loop. As the planner summarized, “I think there's only 90 homes maybe, not even that left,” describing the phase as the remainder of a 522‑home total project. The council recorded approval by voice vote and the plat will proceed to final recording after standard administrative checks.
Why it matters: the approval completes a multi‑phase residential development and finalizes open‑space preservation and street connectivity for the subdivision’s remaining portion.
