Board appoints former commissioner to behavioral health boards, reassigns liaison duties

Wahkiakum County commissioners reviewed board and liaison assignments on Jan. 13 and approved appointing prior Commissioner Gene Strong to two Great Rivers Behavioral Health boards: Great Rivers, LLC and Great Rivers Behavioral Health - ASO boards. The board recorded consensus approval and named Commissioner Mark Letham to assume the remainder of Gene Strong's prior assignments, including the IT Committee, the Fair Board, Capital Board and Grays River Flood Control District.
Commissioner Letham will serve as alternate to the Health and Human Services Advisory Board and Commissioner Cothren will serve as alternate liaison to the Grays River Flood Control District and west-end dredging and flooding issues. Commissioners also provided brief weekly reports; the meeting adjourned at 11:02 a.m.
