The Clarks Village Board discussed outstanding nuisance violations and directed follow-up enforcement at the July 8 meeting. Two previously mailed certified letters were not picked up and the board instructed that the sheriff serve those notices. The board reported 609 E Amity will proceed through the nuisance-abatement process and is at the step to notify the owner of pending demolition.
Trustee James Parsons moved and Trustee Dyrek Zoucha seconded a motion to begin nuisance abatement proceedings on two newly cited properties, 202 N Ord and 407 N Green; the motion passed on a 3-0 roll call with one trustee absent. The minutes show the board is using formal enforcement steps and sheriff service when property owners do not retrieve certified notices.
