The Clarks Village Board on July 8 adopted Resolution No. 2026-0708.1 to renew its membership in the League Association of Risk Management (LARM) and accept the board’s contribution-credit plan. Trustee James Parsons moved to adopt the resolution and Trustee Dyrek Zoucha seconded; the roll call vote was 4-0 in favor.
The resolution requires the village to "Provide written notice of termination at least 180 days prior to the desired termination date, which date shall be no sooner than September 30, 2029," language that reflects a three-year commitment tied to a contribution-credit discount, the minutes show. Chairman Donn Glynn and Clerk Kari Podliska were present for the discussion. The board took the action during the insurance/renewal portion of its meeting after hearing from representatives of the Rural Fire District and Fire Chief Heath Reimers on related insurance matters.
