Board dismisses three complaints and tables three for further investigation

The Maine Board of Chiropractic Licensure reviewed six complaint matters during its Nov. 19, 2025 meeting, dismissing three and tabling three for further investigation. Dr. Luc Dionne moved to dismiss complaint 2025-CHI-20744 for no evidence of a violation of the Board’s laws and rules; the motion was seconded by Dr. John Mark Laney and carried with Drs. Bruns and Morin in favor and Dr. Joseph Kerwin absent.

The board similarly dismissed 2025-CHI-20804 (Dionne moved; Laney seconded) and 2025-CHI-20851 (Bruns moved; Laney seconded). For three additional matters — 2025-CHI-20783, 2025-CHI-20787 and 2025-CHI-20964 — the board voted to table the cases to allow staff to pursue further investigation and request additional information from the licensees; motions to table were made by Dr. Richard Bruns and seconded by Dr. John Mark Laney and carried with the same vote configuration (Kerwin absent).

The minutes record the board’s standard finding language: the dismissed matters showed “no evidence of a violation of the Board’s Laws and Rules.” The tabling motions direct staff to seek further information; the board did not record additional factual findings in the minutes for the tabled matters. No public testimony was recorded on these complaints during the meeting.
